USEF-Nepal Opportunity Fund Grantee

The Opportunity Funds Program is an initiative by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau Education and Cultural Affairs to make U.S. higher education more accessible to non-international students from disadvantaged backgrounds. It is administered by USEF-Nepal's EducationUSA Advising Center in Nepal. This program awards a scholarship that fully covers the upfront costs of the U.S. college application to top performing Nepali students.

Student Researcher and Website Developer at Incubate Nepal

This fantastic eight-week project helped me to be more social, improving my presentation and networking skills. I also elevated my problem-solving skills and learned more about researching the facts and dealing with the different perspectives of many articles by discussing them with energetic teammates. I am thankful to all the members for their inspiration and motivation.
  • Worked on a project based on the structure of the federal parliament and an analysis of how changes in those structures can impact the representation of people in the parliament of Nepal with other five members.
  • Read research papers, interviewed with a political personality.
  • Created a website including articles, quizzes, information from the interview.

  • Published 8+ apps at the Play Store to provide free study materials for grade ten students.
  • Ranked several times in the category of free education apps in Nepal in the Play Store.
  • 100k+ downloads in an app named Nepali Ko Guide.
  • Working to develop apps and websites for grade eleven and grade twelve students.
  • One of the apps, named Nepali Ko Guide, was featured in Naya Patrika, the renowned newspaper of Nepal.
